Building Allied Insurance's commission engine

The problem

Allied Insurance's agents were waiting on manual spreadsheets to know what they'd earned. The process took days each month, introduced errors, and created friction between leadership and the field. At $100k/mo flowing through the system, the stakes were too high to keep doing it by hand.

What we built

A commission tracking system built around Allied's real payout rules — splits, tiers, overrides, and adjustments. It ingests policy data, runs the calculations automatically, and gives agents a clear view of what they've earned in real time.

The result

Allied now processes $100k/mo in agent commissions without manual reconciliation. Payout disputes dropped, agents stopped chasing spreadsheets, and the ops team got those days back.
